1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RXGator (rxgator.info), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service. RXGator is operated by Technology Assessment Project LLC ("we," "us," "our"), based in Glenview, Illinois.

2. Description of Service

RXGator is a free prescription drug price comparison tool that aggregates pricing information from multiple public data sources, government databases, pharmacy programs, and discount card platforms. The service is provided to help consumers identify potential savings on prescription medications.

3. Not Medical Advice

RXGator provides pricing information only. We do not provide medical advice, recommend medications, suggest dosage changes, or make treatment recommendations. The drug information displayed on this site (sourced from MedlinePlus and other government databases) is for general informational purposes only.

Do not start, stop, or change any medication based solely on information from RXGator.
Do not switch between brand-name and generic medications without consulting your doctor or pharmacist.
Always discuss prescription costs with your healthcare provider — they may have additional options or samples available.

4. Pricing Accuracy

RXGator aggregates pricing data from multiple sources including live APIs, government databases, and cached data from third-party platforms. While we make reasonable efforts to display accurate and current pricing:

Prices are estimates. Actual prices at the pharmacy may differ from what is displayed on RXGator due to timing, location, insurance status, pharmacy policies, and other factors.
Prices change frequently. Drug prices can change daily or even within a single day. Cached data (such as SingleCare pricing) may be hours or days old.
Always verify the price at the pharmacy counter before filling a prescription. RXGator is a starting point for comparison, not a final price guarantee.
NADAC benchmark prices represent what pharmacies pay on average for medications, not what consumers pay. These are reference points, not retail prices.
Costco Pharmacy estimates are calculated approximations based on published reporting, not live pricing data.

5. No Warranty

RXGator is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
Pricing information will be accurate, complete, or current.
Any particular drug, dosage, or form will be available in our database.
The results will include every possible pricing option for a given medication.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Technology Assessment Project LLC and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

Your use of or inability to use the service.
Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in pricing data.
Decisions made based on information provided by the service.
Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.

7. Third-Party Data Sources and Links

RXGator displays pricing and drug information sourced from third-party services including Cost Plus Drugs, SingleCare, Medicaid (NADAC), the National Library of Medicine (RxNorm, MedlinePlus), the FDA (openFDA), and others. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for these third-party services. Links to external websites (such as pharmacy websites, SingleCare, or Cost Plus Drugs) are provided for user convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these external sites.

8. Affiliate Relationships

RXGator may earn referral commissions when users click through to third-party pharmacy platforms and complete transactions. Affiliate relationships are disclosed in our Privacy Policy and on the site where applicable. Affiliate relationships never affect how search results are ranked — results are always sorted by lowest price first.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use RXGator for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to access, scrape, or collect data from RXGator through automated means (bots, spiders, scrapers) without written permission.
Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to the service.
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
Use the service to compile data for a competing product without written permission.

10. Intellectual Property

The RXGator name, logo, and capsule icon are the property of Technology Assessment Project LLC. Drug pricing data aggregated from public government sources (NADAC, openFDA, RxNorm, MedlinePlus) is public data and is not claimed as proprietary. Site design, code, and original content are protected by copyright.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these terms shall be filed in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
